I don't understand the thinking behind some of these sentences. She was the key organizer and motivator for this young man's death. Take her out of the equation and none of this would have happened. She gets six years and is released after only serving three, but the young man was savagely beaten to the point of broken bones and one eye receding back into his brain, and then he was burned alive. Think about that; he was burnt alive. What a horror for loving someone. Plus, the sister's car was totally destroyed along with his remaining devastated family and friends. How can only three years equate to the nightmare this woman put everyone through? And the young man who did this for her gets twenty-two years in prison and she turns around and marries someone else without a backward glance. What kind of a deterrent is three years to others in the sikh community who think these kinds of choices are okay? 🤔 I don't get it. My deepest condolences to his mother and sister. Not only did he not deserve this, neither did they. 💐
